Treat Street allows users to discover and collect 3D AR ‘treats’ such as pumpkins and cauldrons through smart devices, whilst trying to avoid ‘tricks’ such as ghouls and zombies.

The approach

Treat Street merges the physical and digital worlds and allows people to venture out into their local area safely and responsibly on Halloween night.

It works by allowing people to collect 'treats' in the form of 3D rendered pumpkins and other festive items as they wander around the neighborhood. The more treats they find, the more points they unlock, and the more sweets they earn. And at the end of the game, parents are able to dish out the Halloween goods based on the number of treats collected, as well as see where they finished on the neighborhood leaderboard.
