The challenge Nike approached us with a fundamental challenge; how to continue to satisfy exponential demand for products and revenue in a world of finite resources.
The approach We found a way to replicate the desirability of physical Nike sneakers, whilst empowering a new generation of collectors and creators. By leveraging trending drop culture and the sneakerhead phenomenon, we turned digital Nike products into crypto collectables that could be bought, traded and sold across web3 platforms.
The results Our early thinking and initial strategy paved the way for Nike to enter the digital collectibles market and position itself as an early adopter of web3, which eventually led to the launch of .SWOOSH in 2022. Currently, the average price of a Cryptokick NFT is $4-9K and its a $300+MIL business unit.
