The challenge Our challenge was to come up with an innovative way to help skate shops give their customers what they need using highly desirable Nike SB products to drive sales locally.
The approach Our pilot enabled 14 skate shops in LA to access a huge amount of Nike SB stock and have it delivered kerb side or any address to the consumer within 90 minutes of their instore purchase.
The results We opened up a new category for Nike - hyperlocal delivery, and demonstrated how Nike understands niche sub-cultures. During our pilot we saw a 21% increase in sales across the 14 stores, with an average delivery time of just 35 minutes.
The unfair advantage A logistics system that means Nike can offer their customers any sneaker, in any size, quickly, regardless of local skate shop stock.
